• FnFx "FnFX enables owners of Toshiba laptops to change the LCD brightness, control the internal fan and use the special keys on their keyboard (Fn-x combinations, hot-keys)."
• Toshset "A command-line tool for access to Jonathan Buzzard's interface for Toshiba hardware settings. It can do things like set the hard drive spin-down time, turn off the display and set the fan speed."
• tclkeymon "Tclkeymon is a demon, writen in TCL, for Toshiba laptops that use ACPI and the Toshiba-ACPI extensions. It monitors function keys and Toshiba specific buttons (including the CD-player buttons, and the state of the laptop lid), and responds appropriately."
